The "Vision of the Heart"
The "Vision of the Heart" community has the goal to offer a safe space for our guests for Healing and Reconnection with Mother Nature. On our 109 hectares property we are living and working together with local farmers, cultivating Cacao, Banana and Coffee. You can come and explore the trails, creeks and river with beautiful waterfalls on our land and become part of our little community. We are offering Yoga, Meditation, Cacao Ceremonies and many beautiful heart-opening classes and events. We are commited to paying fair wages to all our employees. 60% of our profits will are given to the farm to help the modernization of the farm and help raising the wages that are currently to low to live a dignified life. Our project is designed in a way that it not only brings abundance and health to foreign guests but also the local community of farmers. In 2023 we are launching a project for Local and Direct Sale of the farm's Coffee with the goal to raise wages in the community by 100% within 2 years. We are trying our best to live the realization that we are hear to help and support each other as one human tribe.

Social Impact
Our Mission is the advancement of sustainable community oriented projects that empower and help the local farming community (creating jobs and offering opportunities for education and training). We bring in micro-loans and volunteers to end the exploitation of farmers through unfair prices in the coffee industry.
Ecological building
The goal of this project is to create an autonomous community.
We strive to pursue sustainable and organic farming. Growing our own vegetables, harvesting our own fruits.
We are already harvesting tons of different fruits and Cacao each year and strive to be the the main supplier of Cacao in the region.
Our building shall be ecological and in the near future our sustainable energy production will be from renewable energies.
Holistic Healing
The "Vision of the Heart" a community that is dedicated to the cultivation of the "Opening of the Heart" by practicing and living the values of Selfless-Service, Compassion, Honesty and Harmonious co-existence with Nature.
Our main focus are the teachings of Hridaya Yoga with regular Silent Meditation Retreats.
At the same time we are open for a wide spectrum of holistic healing methods.
Join Our Volunteering Program
We are currently looking for volunteers (work exchange for food and accommodation in tents) for our retreat and healing center project, that has just started recently. Minimum stay for Volunteers would be one month.
As a volunteer you will help 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. There will be 3 vegan meals a day served and in your free time you can participate in Wim Hof Breathwork and Ice Bath sessions, Yoga, Meditation, Cacao Heart Circles and Singing circles if they are offered at the time of your stay. We are just starting this community and would love to have a community with an atmosphere of mutual care, respect and love.
What is needed most of all right now - sorted by importance and urgency- is :
1) Handyman/maintenance
Someone that can fix things, is inventive and has a special interest for that, experience/know how on architecture, carpentry and building is a huge plus!
2) General Assistance
Someone who knows about kitchen logistics and has recipe ideas to inspire our Mexican chef in training, Lorena. Ideally you bring some experience in vegan restaurants or have been a chef in the past. The role implies checking on water supply, emptying compost, taking care of the compost, Harvesting fruit from the land and many other tasks to help our retreat center crew.
3) Someone helping to build/facilitate our vegetable garden(experience with gardening and permaculture is needed).
4) Volunteers/carpenters/builders that want to help with the construction of new Bamboo cabañas and the Yoga Hall (experience with carpentry is a big advantage but motivation and enthusiasm can be good).
5) Someone with experience on Social Media Marketing or an affinity with Online Social Networks, experience with crowdfunding is a plus.
6) A filmphotographer and/or someone with film editing experience (for crowdfunding and social media channels).
